No threat from disturbance moving into the Caribbean.
Weakened to probable Category 1 coming ashore between Georgetown and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina later today.
I am posting the bulletin as I copied/pasted it from the NHC web page. The storm is very strong.
There are a lot of guys out there, but Ryan Hall Ya'll is my favorite for reporting severe weather…especially tornados. And he is seeing a lot of action in the Ft. Lauderdale area due to Hurricane Ian.
The storm has grown in size. At least a Cat 3 Storm will hit Florida.
Hurricane Ian now appears to be coming ashore further south with landfall projected between Northport and Cape Coral, Florida, as a strong Category 3 storm.
The National Hurricane Center showed an experimental forecast map for storm surge.
